The jobs program at
the local drop in center
was open on
Saturdays and Sussannah, hurried wonder-ing
if possibly she
might apply for the just posted position,
her friend had
called from her office and let her know;
she had gotten the
job, two months ago and her position,
was open since she
transferred to another department.
By now the, two
friends lived together in a two bedroom overlooking,
Venice Beach, a
beautiful complex of 100 apts in total.
It was subsidized
housing!
